Time for action!
We need a healthy dose of stress in our lives to function properly. When stress takes over in our lives, it’s time to do something about it. Not only does long-term stress cause all kinds of complaints, your entire body also gets out of balance. So time for action.
How do you recognize stress?
Sometimes it really takes a while before you recognize that you are dealing with stress. Our lives are designed to keep going, keep all the balls in the air and there is a kind of rush culture. If you are under pressure for a long time, your body automatically starts giving signals.
Such as:
- Headache
- Fatigue, even after 7-8 hours of sleep
- Not being able to think clearly
- Poor concentration
How do you know that you are out of balance?
Being out of balance is also one of the consequences that stress can cause. In addition to stress, there are other components that can cause you to become unbalanced. Think, for example, of an unpleasant home or work situation. A family quarrel. Or prolonged tensions. Even when you are out of balance, your body gives signals.
Such as:
- You often forget appointments
- You are always late
- You don’t do what you say
- You are tired
- You are not comfortable in your own skin
The impact of COVID on us
COVID has brought a unique challenge for us as well. The new rules and constantly changing guidelines that we have to deal with. Changing home and work situations. It all does not contribute positively to our stress and balance level.
The amount of negativity and uncertainty we face from just turning on the news… Or when we look at our phones… It drains us completely. We get out of balance and our inner peace is completely disturbed.
